A Place to Connect, Collaborate, and Grow

The 32 Bridge Street Community Hub is a new initiative by JC Homes, located on the ground floor of our newest affordable housing development at 32 Bridge Street. The building provides 24 affordable homes for women and women-led families in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Designed to strengthen both residents and the wider community, 32 Bridge Street combines affordable housing with spaces that foster connection, opportunity, and access to essential services.

The Community Hub is a key part of that vision.

Created to provide affordable, accessible space for organizations, community groups, and local partners, the Hub offers a welcoming place to connect, collaborate, and deliver meaningful programs and services that benefit the Brantford community.

Our vision is to create a vibrant shared space that supports community organizations, collaborative programming, workforce development, and neighbourhood connection. By bringing organizations together under one roof, we aim to foster partnerships, encourage the sharing of knowledge and resources, strengthen local services, and improve access to programs that help our community thrive.

Flexible Meeting & Event Space

Ideal for board meetings, workshops, presentations, training sessions, networking events, community gatherings, and public information sessions.

Community Kitchen

A fully equipped space for cooking programs, food education, meal preparation initiatives, and community events.

Private Counselling Space

A quiet, confidential room for one-on-one meetings, counselling, coaching, client support, and case management.

Computer Corner

A dedicated area where organizations can provide digital access, employment assistance, online learning, or technology support.

Looking Ahead

As the Community Hub grows, our goal is to continue expanding opportunities for collaboration, community programming, youth employment and training, and neighbourhood engagement.

We’re excited to build this space alongside our community partners and welcome ideas that will help shape the future of the Hub.

Together, we can create a place where organizations are supported, partnerships are strengthened, and our community continues to thrive.

Who the Hub Serves

Many organizations face similar challenges—limited budgets, increasing demand for services, and difficulty finding affordable, accessible space to meet or deliver programming. The Community Hub helps address these challenges by providing a shared space where organizations can focus their resources on serving the community instead of maintaining facilities. Whether an organization is well established or just getting started, the Hub offers a professional, affordable space where their work can grow.

Membership

The Community Hub operates on a membership-based model, providing organizations with affordable, reliable access to shared community space. Rather than paying traditional hourly rental fees, members receive flexible monthly access that makes it easy to host meetings, programs, workshops, events, and client services throughout the year.

Membership is designed to support organizations of all sizes while encouraging collaboration and long-term community partnerships.
